Wedding season is upon us! I am looking forward to all the sessions I have in the coming months - it’s so fun to take part in such a special day. Wishing all the lovely couples a wonderful wedding and lifetime of love and happiness. And a touch of sun :)

I can’t put into words the excitement I feel about the arrival of Miss I. She is the beautiful daughter of two of my most favourite friends, and she is just so precious. A precious little peanut. I am so proud to be a ‘matante’ – or aunt – and I am just in awe of how perfect she is.

I am lucky to have such wonderful people in my life and to have the opportunity to take part in their excitement!  And apologies to Miss I in advance for sticking a lens in her face for the next 18 years.

Move over Frank Sinatra - these baby blues take the cake!!

I had a great session over the Easter long weekend with Mr. S and his lovely family. It was one of the warmer days we’ve had over the past two months, and this phenomenon we call ‘sun’ made a rare appearance.  It was so nice, in fact, that Mr. S’s dad brought out his ’68 Camaro for some shots with both of his babies.

I had so much fun and can’t wait to do more sessions with them!

I enjoyed a lovely brunch this morning with my mum to celebrate Mother’s Day. Mimosa’s, frittata,  and delicious lemon rolls made fresh by Miss Gouda Life. What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning. My family is the greatest! XO

My name is Laura and I live in Ottawa, Ontario. I have always been artistic and crafty, and in the past few years have taken to the art of photography. While I love all subjects, my passion is maternity and newborn photography. To be able to share in the anticipation and excitement of an expecting mom, or the joy and pride of new parents is so incredibly rewarding. And providing them with lifelong memories of this special time in their lives is what makes me love my job!
